The Food Security Network of Newfoundland & Labrador (FSN) is a provincial, membership-based, non-profit organization with the mission to actively promote comprehensive, community-based solutions to ensure physical and economic access to adequate and healthy food for all.

To achieve this mission, FSN has three core goals:

  1. To catalyze and support community food security initiatives across Newfoundland and Labrador (like community kitchens, community gardens, farmers markets, etc.);
  2. To increase food security public awareness, engagement, skills and education in Newfoundland and Labrador; and
  3. To build strategic partnerships to enhance food security in Newfoundland and Labrador.

FSN is looking for a new name that speaks to our mission, that encompasses the diversity of our work, and that is both professional and engaging. We want your feedback on our top three choices: Food Group NL; Food First NL; and Food Council NL.

Click here to fill out a brief survey and help us choose a new name and you will be entered in a draw for a prize of a copy of All Around the Table and the book Edible Plants of NL. You only have until September 30th to fill it in and enter the prize draw!: www.foodsecuritynews.com/survey
