Locally the Stephenville Lions Club is actively doing their part in addressing food security and human health issues by promoting and supporting a growing community garden and by operating a community market.
DIY Rain Barrels
Try something new in your stir-fry
I love stir-fries. It is a great way for me to get my vegetables. For a quick meal I will get frozen cut vegetables and cook with a little soy sauce and serve with rice. But I really do prefer fresh vegetables. Usually I use broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, celery, carrots, and onions. Sometimes I will buy bok choy, which is an Asian cabbage, and cut the leaves and stems separately and add them in also.
