St. John’s Food Assessment
Our Food NL
We led this multi-phase, community-led process with guidance from a working group. It inspired local food action and built connections within St. John’s.
We supported a variety of community-led solutions to food security issues in rural and remote regions of the province.
We worked with corner stores to increase the variety of foods and fresh foods they offered. A precursor to Great Things in Store.
We brought together partners to plan for vibrant food systems where people and places flourish.
These projects shared traditional food knowledge among seniors in N.L. and with the next generation.
We worked with the City of St. John’s to co-chair the St. John’s Food Policy Council.
