Regional Food Animators

Food First NL has five Regional Food Animators working across the province to inspire and support community food action! They work with folks across their region to:

  1. Create spaces where people can share what is happening in their area and learn from one another.

  2. Build relationships within regions.

  3. Provide and share resources, information, and guidance.

Project ideas and food actions look different for each region and each community. Some of the things that the Regional Food Animators are working on include:

  • Providing presentations to community groups and schools

  • Meeting and networking with folks in their region

  • Connecting folks with information and resources to support their food actions
