Working With the Lived and Living Experience Advisory Group

Are you working to end poverty and food insecurity in Newfoundland and Labrador? Consider working with a team of folks with Lived and Living Experience on the issue you’re seeking to address.

Studies have found that projects and policies work better when People with Lived Experience help create them. If you don’t already have People with Lived Experience informing your project or policy, reach out to the Lived and Living Experience Advisory Group (LLEAG) for support.

What LLEAG Can Offer

LLEAG Members can:

  • Ground truth your ideas to help ensure they reflect the on-the-ground realities of the folks closest to the issue.

  • Give guidance on improving your plans to make them more effective and likely to assist the people you’re trying to reach.

  • Provide expert advice on subjects related to their six priority areas (Challenging Stigma, Income interventions, Corporate Accountability, Local Food, Institutional Food, and Climate Justice). That said, Members are open to assisting all efforts to address food insecurity and poverty.
