Local food production and protection of agricultural land are important parts of food security in Newfoundland and Labrador. Join us for a presentation and opportunity to ask questions about the Province’s agricultural land development and protection policies.

Presenter Hazen Scarth, with the Department of Natural Resources, will give an overview of the status of the agricultural industry with an emphasis on food production, and also discuss changes on the farm including production, farm population/aging, and food consumption.
